MORTGAGE SURVEY
Our clients can call in or fax in an order for a Mortgage Report. We can provide this service in as little as a one-day turn around. Before the mortgage or title insurance is issued, the interested parties want to be sure that improvements on the property do not encroach onto adjoining properties and that neighboring improvements do not encroach on the subject property. Mortgage surveys show the location of buildings/homes, fences, etc. These surveys not only show the location but also the dimensions and a brief description of all improvements on the property, including driveways, swimming pools and out-buildings.
BOUNDARY SURVEY
We perform many Boundary and Parcel Split Surveys for our local clients. If you want to subdivide and split your property or would just like to know where your property lines are located, we have the staff and equipment to serve your needs. We take pride in providing these services in a quick time frame at an economical price. A boundary survey is performed when a property owner needs the property corners located and verified and/or reset. The surveyor will research all available property information to verify exact locations of these corners. The property owner can request additional work be done. The improvements on the property can be located and encroachments onto or from the subject property can be determined if desired. Additional stakes along property lines can be set. The owner can also request a drawing depicting what corners were set and what corners were found.
FLOOD PLAIN OR ELEVATION CERTIFICATE
An Elevation Survey is used to provide elevation information necessary to ensure compliance with community floodplain management ordinances, to determine the proper insurance premium rate, and to support a request for a Letter of Map Amendment or Revision (LOMA/LOMR). SSI has experience with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) documents and certificates.
PARCEL SPLIT
