CONSTRUCTION STAKING
Includes staking of all items of any residential or commercial development. Such items may consist of: buildings, pavement, curb and gutter, utilities, signs, and property boundary.
CONCRETE MATERIAL TESTING
includes the testing and Quality Assurance of concrete on your highway project. We are CERTIFIED by MDOT, the American Concrete Institute and Michigan Concrete and Paving Association and have Concrete Technicians certified in Levels 1 and 2.
CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT
includes layout of all items typically done by the Department of Transportation (MDOT). We are MDOT Pre-qualified to perform staking as the engineer. Such items may consist of: vertical and horizontal control, bridge reference points and lines, alignments, and right-of-way.
CONTRACTOR STAKING
includes layout of all items for the construction of highways. SSI has many experienced field crews that have completed staking projects for contractors on various highways throughout Michigan. We also have experienced Project Managers who have provided material quantity calculations for MDOT highway projects.
